> See us at Subcon 2011
Millennium Pressed Metal will be showcasing its ‘single source’ manufacturing solutions to more than 5000 national and international delegates this week.
The company, which provides world class pressed metal components and assemblies, will be exhibiting on Stand A25 at Subcon 2011 as part of the Institute of Sheet Metal Engineering (ISME) delegation.
It is looking to engage with new customers in the automotive, aerospace and construction sectors that are keen to tap into low and high volume production, rapid turnaround and prototyping.
Anna Stevenson, Managing Director, picked up the story:
“Subcon is one of the biggest international manufacturing events on the calendar and we wanted to build on a positive start to 2011 by targeting potential new clients.
“Being part of the ISME stand gives us a great collateral mass and we fully expect to speak to hundreds of companies over the course of the three days (June 7-9th).”
She concluded: “We’re going to have the presswork for the complete JLR seat frame on display and will also be promoting the launch of our new website (www.millpm.co.uk).”

> Investment in capacity
Over £15,000 has been invested in a state-of-the-art Euromac hydraulic bending machine, which will enhance Millennium Pressed Metal’s capacity even further.
The horizontal-acting machine provides unlimited bending capabilities without the risk of damaging expensive press brake tooling.
It is easy to operate and cost of production can be reduced, with the acquisition set to help the company take on new parts and assemblies that require controlled bending of angles and plates.
One order has already been secured as a result of the new capabilities and more contracts are expected in the coming months.

> www.millpm.co.uk gets a new look

Millennium Pressed Metal has teamed up with DCPR to launch a new website in time for a series of trade exhibitions.
www.millpm.co.uk has been completely revamped in the new corporate brand and features all the information you will ever need to know about the company.
This includes ‘Millennium at a glance’, plant capacity list, latest news and specialist sections on tool making, presswork, development and prototyping.
As part of the new marketing mix, the firm has also embraced the social media boom and boasts its own Facebook page and can be followed on twitter @millennium_pm
